After being introduced globally last November, the Poco M3 was finally brought by Xiaomi to Indonesia. One of the best selling points of this phone is the battery with a jumbo capacity. The Poco M3 carries a 6,000 mAh battery, and is claimed to be strong to accompany user activities for 2.5 days. This battery is quite large for a cellphone in its class. The battery can be charged via the USB Type-C port which supports 18 watts of charging. In the sales box, Xiaomi also includes a 22.5 watt charger, so users don’t need to buy it separately.

By design, the front of the Poco M3 is no different from the Xiaomi smartphone in the entry-level segment. The screen carries an IPS LCD panel and has a size of 6.53 inches (Full HD Plus resolution). The front, which has been coated with Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass, is also decorated with a conventional waterdrop-style notch which contains an 8 MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the back of the Poco M3 looks different. There is a camera module in the shape of a rectangle that looks huge.

To the left of the module, there are three cameras consisting of a 48 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor camera. These three cameras are arranged vertically. Right to the right of the camera is an LED flash. In addition, there is also a large “Poco” logo.

For performance matters, the Poco M3 relies on the Snapdragon 662 chipset combined with two choices of RAM and internal storage, namely 4 GB / 64 GB and 6 GB / 128 GB. This storage media capacity can be expanded with a microSD card up to 512 GB.

Other supporting features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a reverse charging feature that can turn your cellphone into a power bank. For the software sector, this phone runs the Android 10 operating system which is coated with the typical Poco MIUI 12-based interface. In Indonesia, the Poco M3 comes in three color variants, namely Power Black, Cool Blue and Poco Yellow.
