This app can do both Whatsapp and Telegram at once

Former founder and CEO of smartwatch manufacturer Pebble, Eric Migicovsky made a new innovation by launching an application called Beeper. This application was also introduced directly by Migicovsky through an upload on Twitter.

What is Beeper?

Beeper is a multi-platform application that can combine 15 messaging services at once in it. Through Beeper, users can connect to 15 different chat applications, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Instagram, Twitter, Messenger, Skype, Hangouts, and others. Thus, users don’t need to bother manually opening message applications one by one.

Migicovsky admitted that the idea to create the Beeper application emerged while he was still focused on developing Pebble smartwatch products, before being acquired by Fitbit. At that time, Migicovsky was focused on studying the software system called the Matrix. Matrix can be said to be a program that supports applications to be able to run multiple services at once on one platform.

Even so, Apple’s instant messaging app iMessage is still not available on Beeper. Because Migicovsky said that iMesaage can only be run via Apple devices, such as the iPhone and the like.

“We want users to be able to send messages via iMessage, but we have not found a solution and a way to make iMessage run on this application (Beeper),” said Migicovsky.

Migicovsky says Beeper might be able to run iMessage, but users will have to use some “special” tricks to do it.

“iMessage could have worked on Android, Windows, and Linux if they used a few tricks,” wrote Migicovsky.

Because it is still a prototype application, Beeper is not yet widely available and has not been listed on the Google Play Store store. Migicovsky said that users who want to download this application must first register via the official Beeper page at the following link https://www.beeperhq.com/

Before the arrival of Beeper, Migicovsky had already built a similar application called Novachat. However, Novachat doesn’t seem that popular. Therefore, this year, Migicovsky took the initiative to release a similar platform under the name Beeper.

The following is a list of messaging services that can later be opened via the Beeper application:

  • Whatsapp
  • Facebook Messenger
  • iMessage
  • Android Messages (SMS)
  • Telegram
  • Twitter
  • Slack
  • Hangouts

  • Skype
  • IRC
